We have finalized plans for the first of two Young Eagles events this year. The first is scheduled for Saturday, July 21st (yup, just before Oshkosh... so use the date to brush up on your landings!).

We're looking for additional pilots to fly Young Eagles. The format this year is folks will pre-register to attend and we will assign them arrival times (so you and your passengers are not waiting around). The rain date is the second event scheduled on Saturday, September 29th.

Even if you can fly for an hour, please consider joining us.

Since most of us have the memory of a goldfish...

The first of two Young Eagles events is July 21st at KEHR. Please consider joining us and helping introduce the kids to aviation.

Watch here and the calendar for additional information. If questions, please contact Sue Glisson.

Here's the latest on this Saturday's Young Eagles event:

The registrations are due to Sue by Wednesday. I hope to have an estimated nose count by Thursday morning. We'll add about 50% more for walk up availability and I'll share that estimate with you all on Thursday evening.

We will make our wx go/no go on Friday AM. We need to do this in the event we have to contact the folks who have pre-registered. Our rain date is September 29th, 2018 - also at KEHR.

Because of the possibility of heavy rain on Friday, I can shuttle anyone requiring a lift should they choose to reposition their airplane. Or, I can do it for you - just leave your keys, a valid credit card, an estimate of hours until TBO or annual inspection, and $250 cash in your plane. I will take care of the rest.
