Today we lost Blue Angel #6 Jeff Koss in an accident at Smyrna, Tenn. Besides being a great loss to aviation, I was honored to ride in the back seat of his F-18, last year, for a full 45 minutes. A truly great individual and pilot. God's blessings to you and your family Jeff. I will always treasure the time I got to spend in the back seat of your F-18.

I asked myself how could that happen with the quality of the pilot, the ship, and the maintenance. We are all diminished when one is lost. Thank you, Steve, for sharing your connection with Captain Kuss. I was so sad to learn of this loss. Can we send some condolences to his family from EAA 21? - Mike
