Where is the nearest compass rose. I need to re-calibrate my Garmin G3X as my original calibration was done taxiing around Skylane. As a result my plane thinks it is in a 1/4 ball out slip sitting on the ground. Now that I have a new molded carbon fiber panel installed, it is time to do the calibration the way it is supposed to be done.
There used to be a compass rose at EVV because the first EAA Chapter 21 meeting I attended they were talking about re-painting it. I don't remember seeing one over there but it could be on some remote taxi way.
And if there is not one at KEVV does the Chapter need to paint one?
