The June, 2019 IMC Club meeting will be held on Saturday, June 15th, 2019 at 3EV beginning at 0800 local.

Topics include: Understanding the Garmin Electronic Stability System (ESP), IFR routing and procedures to Airventure 2019 and Flying the ADIZ.

We'll knock the rust off of using the eSTMP system for IFR arrivals into KOSH, review the routing/filing changes and IFR departure procedures for KOSH and satellite airports. In addition, with all of the news surrounding automated stability systems, we'll look at Garmin's ESP system - how to configure and what to expect from the system.

Finally, we'll begin a series on flying in the Air Defense Identification Zones and Customs/CPB requirements coming back from Canada or the Bahamas.

We'll be applying for FAA Wings credit too.

Please join us as all are welcome.

REMINDER: The June, 2019 Chapter 21, Inc. IMC Club Meeting is this Saturday at 3EV beginning at 0800 local.

Please note that the materials included in this edition of the IMC Club pertain to most pilots - not just those who are instrument rated.

We'll discuss the OSHKOSH NOTAM and be briefed by an FAA Controller/pilot who has worked the air traffic at both AirVenture and Sun 'n Fun, review carbon monoxide poisoning symptoms, causes and monitors, review the Air Defense Identification Zones (for those weekends in the Bahamas and Canada) and review the Garmin Electronic Stability Protection (ESP) system.

These are topics which ALL pilots and students can benefit, so please make plans to join us.

The attendees who signed up will receive FAA Wings credit for their participation.

And thanks to Trent Tyler for joining and adding his insights and experiences as a controller working during AirVenture.

Here's the link to the company I bought my unit from (Note: this is not an endorsement nor do I have any connection with this company - other than having purchased and used its products).
