VFR and IFR drivers: If you've been flying long enough or just not paying attention to the world around you, you WILL EVENTUALLY find yourself in a similar situation portrayed in this video. It's an excellent reminder that we as pilots, while continually assessing the progress of the flight, may fall into the "Get-There-At-All-Costs-itis" mind set. The narrative offers insight into the PIC's flawed decision making and potential for making an already bad situation worse.
