Van's Aircraft has issued a Service Bulletin for all RV 3, 4, 6/6A, 7/7A, 8/8A aircraft. Note, this does not include the RV-9. This is a PERFORM BEFORE NEXT FLIGHT service bulletin and directly applies to your elevator staying firmly affixed to your airplane. Here is the SB: http://www.vansaircraft.com/pdf/sb14-02-03.pdf |

I inspected my RV8 per SB and found no cracks. I will continue to inspect at Condition Inspections per SB. I will not modify my plane until needed. Keith S. |

Well, misted the fact you are referring to a new SB. I will inspect per new SB about hinges today. My last post was referring to the just recent SB. |
