Greeting fellow EAA'ers! For those that may not know, the city of Owensboro is hosting it's second annual air show on September 20-21st - featuring the Canadian Forces CF-18 Hornet Demonstration Team, the Lima Lima Flight Team, and among others. As a new feature this year, there will be a static display and night air show at the airport (KOWB) on Friday night only from 4-9PM (flying starts around 7pm). We are in the process of securing as many aircraft as possible to be part of our static display that evening at the airport. We would like to extend our interest to the chapter for any experimental and/or GA airplanes. This would be an excellent opportunity to promote general aviation and homebuilding to the general public and to have your aircraft on display. Sanctions/fencing is available to be put around static displays for the duration. Please throw me an e-mail (lukecarrico@live.com) if interested in participating. We'd love to have you!
