In response to Vaughn's post: Quote: I'm in search of places to fly and eat. I like Mt. Vernon, IL, and Lambert's is another good choice. Anyone been to the lodge at Rough River? Other destinations? French Lick needs to be on your list. When making your call approaching the pattern you will usually receive a call asking if you would like transportation into the hotels and/or Casino. Take the bus and they will drop you at either hotel or the Country Club. Again, we have been known to pack a picnic lunch and find a quiet place on the grounds for lunch. |
