I'm in search of places to fly and eat. I like Mt. Vernon, IL, and Lambert's is another good choice. Anyone been to the lodge at Rough River? Other destinations?

Mattoon, IL KMTO is still my favorite. Get a tenderloin and an order of mushrooms. They are the best!

Breakfast at MTO on the weekend features a special at a reasonable price. A favorite is the biscuits and gravy.

Many years ago while taking flying lessons at Carmi we would eat the tenderloin for lunch regularly. Reading it remains a favorite is a good thing! :D
