We're havin' a party!

Join Skylane Pilots Association members, EAA Chapter 21 and area pilots and painters for a combined Picnic, Fly-In, Poker Run and Tetrahedron Painting Party this Sunday, June 17th, 2018 at Skylane airport (3EV).

Activities from 1100-1600 local including:

Poker Run 1000 - 1200 local
Lunch 1100 - 1300 local
Land on the White Dot (practice for Oshkosh)
Raffle

Donations accepted to offset the cost of materials for the airport improvements. Naming rights of the newly painted tetrahedron are available for a $1,000 donation to the Skylane Pilots Association (not really).

Weather looks good for some flying so join us on Sunday!

Many thanks to all who attended and helped with Sunday's Flash Picnic and Tetrahedron Painting Party.

I'd like to mention Terry Mominee and Twany Eberhart who fed us all (the green bean casserole, brats and airplane cookies were excellent).

And the Tetrahedron Painting Division of EAA Chapter 21, Inc. included Jules Mominee, Steve Eberhart, Bruce Epmeier, Les Bryant and Mike Zeller. Many thanks for braving the heat, bad puns and advice, and paint spilling (Note - someone mentioned we may have spilled more paint than actually applied. I do not disagree with this observation).

I'd also like to recognize those who flew in the Poker Run during which we raised $110. Together with the initial $100 from the Chapter we almost covered the cost of the materials. It was nice to see aircraft parked outside for an event again.
