Join Eagle Flight Academy, LLC and EAA Chapter 21, Inc. on Saturday, August 22nd from 1100-1400 local at the Eagles Nest (Hangar 4, KOWB airport) for the Eagle Flight Academy LLC's Open House.

This is a fly-in/drive in event to be held rain or shine.

The executive chef's from EAA 21 will be serving food from 12-1:30 PM for a modest gratuity. In the mean time check out the Eagles Nest, the very cool Red Bird TD2 flight simulator and Hangar 4 where the training/rental aircraft are housed. There is a strict mask on EVERYWHERE policy for this event and tours to the sim room may be limited.

OK, so the weather may not be clear and a million tomorrow but according to the latest Terminal forecast it will be good enough to pull out the plane, kick the tires and fly over to KOWB. I suspect (as did Flight Service) most of the weather will arrive after the event ends at 1400 local. If Mother Nature intervenes, you can still drive over and visit with the Chapter 21 folks and staff at Eagle Flight Academy.

I have an open seat KEHR to KOWB tomorrow at 1030 local. Seating priority will be given to anyone possessing a fine single malt Scotch whiskey, craft bourbon and/or Greycliff cigars.

FYI - if unfamiliar with the airport, request a progressive taxi to Hangar 4.
