We are getting back to flying The weather is forecast to be deteriorating as the day progresses. Use good judgment in deciding to fly the poker run or just join us for fried chicken at 12:00 Noon. If you don't fly you can still buy a poker hand at the reception. The EAA Chapter 21 Poker Saturday June 27th and is a Poker Run culminating at Skylane Airport (3EV) at 12:00 Noon. This will be a joint meeting with EAA Chapter 21, Skylane Pilots and Evansville Pilots Association. Saturday, June 27 – EAA CHAPTER 21 POKER RUN AND PHIL DAWES PLAQUE DEDICATION. The poker run card stops will include Carmi, IL (KCUL), Lawrenceville, IL (KLWV), Huntingburg, IN, (KHNB) and Henderson, KY (KEHR). Fly the course at your convenience. Pick up one card at each location. Meet back at Skylane (3EV) at 12:00 noon to determine the winner. Entry fee is $20. Winner receives half pot and the remainder will be donated to a local COVID19 relief fund. A dedication ceremony and reception for a plaque honoring Phil Dawes will be held as part of the event. Lunch will be provided. All EAA, Skylane and other area pilots, family and friends are welcome to participate. |
