Post subject:  Email spoofing of EAA National

Please be aware that a number of "spoofed" email attempts to get EAA members to open attached files are being reported and these attempts (if successful) could expose the users computers to malware, ransomware or simple phishing.

If you suspect any email - simply float your cursor over the senders name and make sure the address appears legitimate. If otherwise, delete the message and then clear out your deleted messages folder as well.

If you do not have email scanning software, save (but do not open) the attached file to your desktop and use your virus scanning software to validate.

Other clues include being Bcc:d to an email, very large number of To: addresses and the obvious spelling/grammatical errors.

Thanks for the heads up, Rhino. I had a desk top computer trashed years ago when the virus attacks were just showing up. That was a head ache!
