Ok guys, weather permitting this Saturday I will be at Skylane doing Prop Balances. I am planning to arrive at 7am. Each plane will take 1.5 hrs. to do. Your plane must have a starter gear on the front behind the spinner for me to be able to do it, this is where the balance weights are mounted. We will need to remove the top cowling to attach the balancing equipment. During the checks we will have to run the engine up to full power for a few seacond usually 4 or 5 times, each time adjusting the weights to attempt to eliminate the vibration. I will be charging $150 per plane. If you are planning to have your plane done, please let me know so I have an idea of how many I will be doing. My email is bobbyhester at twc dot com.
