EAA Chapter 21 will have it's first meeting of 2016 on Wednesday (Jan. 13) at Skylane Airport: 6:30 pm - A fine meal of hotdogs, chips and cookies; 7:00 pm - Brief business meeting, election of officers, review of 2016 schedule of events (see below), followed by a showing of the movie One Six Right (73 minutes). 2016 Draft Schedule of Events * Food before each regular meeting at 630 pm at 3EV Jan 1/13 - Regular meeting: Movie night & elections (Jules) Feb 2/10 - Regular meeting: RV AD repair (Steve) Mar 3/9 - ADS-B: What’s all the commotion about? (Vaughn) Apr 4/13 - Regular meeting: 4/16 - YE Event @ 5K on the Runway (KEVV) 4/??? - Fly-out to Dayton to USAF Musuem May 5/7 - First Saturday Fly-in (EHR) 5/11 - Regular meeting June 6/4 - First Saturday Fly-in w/EVV Pilot Club (EHR) 6/8 - Regular meeting 6/20-24 - YE Event on one day, CMOE aviation camp @ EVV July 7/2 - First Saturday Fly-in (3EV?) 7/13 - Regular meeting 7/25-31 - AirVenture, Oshkosh - Fly/ride alongs? Aug 8/6 - First Saturday Fly-in w/EVV Pilot Club (EVV) 8/10 - Regular meeting 8/20 (or 9/3) - Wings & Wheels (EVV) Sep 9/3 - First Saturday Fly-in (EHR) 9/14 - Regular meeting Oct 10/1 - First Saturday Fly-in (EHR) 10/12 - Regular meeting Nov 11/9 - Regular meeting Dec 12/14 - Christmas Party |

We had a nice start to 2016 with the election of officers (Vaughn D. - President; Steve E., VP; Jay W., Sec.; and Jim S., Treasurer) pizza, discussion of the 2016 schedule of events, and watching the Red Barron! Those present were keenly interested in a "fly a member" program where empty aircraft seats of those flying could be filled by those members wanting to catch some air. More to come.... soon! |
