After 4 years of service (including the last 8 months with me as President - enough said...), Jim Schmitt has indicated he is retiring from the Board and his role as Treasurer. This is consistent with his original commitment to serve for 4 years in the role of Chapter Treasurer.
Accordingly, the position of Treasurer is now open.
I can share with you some of the duties here:
1) monthly cash balance and bank reconciliation
2) accounts receivables and payables; cash deposits
3) budget creation and YTD reporting
4) tax filings for both state and federal taxes
5) conversion project from general ledger to QuickBooks software
6) audit team member
7) invoice generation and billing
8) additional duties are outlined in the amended Bylaws
The pay is excellent (not really), generous perks and benefits package (just kidding), 45 days paid vacation (sorry, not true), personal car and driver (yeah, right) and free avgas for life (uh huh).
The position is a Director level and a key member of the Chapter Leadership Team.
Those interested should contact any Leadership Team member to indicate their interest.
If questions, please contact me at
wjanowicz@twc.com. Additionally, I would encourage those interested to contact Jim Schmitt and discuss the position and duties.
Regards,
Bill
