EAA Chapter 21 and Tri-State Aero are co-sponsoring a ATC Appreciation event this Saturday, 11/16, from 0900-1300 at Tri-State FBO. Come say thanks to our local ATC folks and offer them a flight around Evansville. The chapter is providing Donut Bank in the am and Tri-State will be grilling burgers and dogs.

I'll be flying as will Rick Kaskel but others are absolutely welcomed!!!

The curse of Chapter 21 has struck again and the weather is forcing us to push the ATC Appreciation Eagle Event to next Saturday, same place and time.

As long as the long-range forecast holds, the ATC Appreciation Day on Saturday (11/23) from 0900-1300 looks like a GO! We'll have coffee and Donut Bank in the am and grilled burgers/brats later. Thanks to Tri-State Aero and EAA Chapter 21 for making this happen.

See you at Tri-State Aero on Saturday.

My RV-7A "Sky Terrier" and I will be at Tri-State as close to 9:00 as we can make it

Thanks for making yesterday a success! The controllers really enjoyed flying, the burgers, brats and donuts… as did we. Hanging out, visiting, and talking aviation was an added bonus. Chapter 21 has a lot of aviation wisdom in its membership.

Yes, it was an enjoyable day!

Plus for those who stayed, we were treated to a tour of the control tower. It is quite a view from up there.. :P
