Our EAA Chapter’s Saturday Fly-ins, known as EAA 21 Club, were such a roaring success the past three years - We are going to do it again.

We will be preparing Hamburgers, Brats and NATHANS FAMOUS Hot Dogs for all that fly in. Just as New York’s 21 Club has become known as the HAPPENING PLACE to be and be seen, EAA 21 Club is the place to be on the first Saturday of each month.

When: May 4, June 1, July 6, August 3, September 7, October 5, 2013
10:00 AM till 2:00 PM Central time.

Where: Henderson Kentucky City-County Airport (KEHR)

If KEHR is VFR then we will be cooking the best Gourmet Burgers,
Brats and Dogs this side of Sporty's.

Before taking off for one of our EAA 21 Club First Saturday Fly-Ins be sure to check our Chapter's Web Forum Site for any last minute updates, i.e. if it is cancelled due to weather.

After looking at projected weather for Sat May 4th, I am going to offically cancel our First Saturday Fly in. Looking forward to next Month.

There will be a Chapter Meeting at Skylane Wed May 8th. We will be discussing the up coming Young Eagles event on Sat May 11. We are also trying to get Bob Epmire, a WWII Naval aviator to talk about his experiences

Still on for this Saturday (June 1st)?

I should be there in the Cherokee. Weather forecast shows thunderstorms all across the board for the next seven days, so hopefully there will be a decent turn out if the weather cooperates.

Twany and I will do a final weather check Friday and if it looks promising will buy the burgers, brats, dogs and all the trimmings. Since my plane is down for it's Conditional we will be driving the food over to Henderson.

Crap - weather is going to be windy and generally not friendly to small aircraft. 20 mph winds rain and thunder storms doesn't sound like fun to me.
