It's time for another fly-in at Henderson Airport (KEHR) on Saturday, Sept. 5th, from 11:00 – 1:00 pm where we will be grilling the best burgers, brats and hotdogs in the Tri-State Area. Our fly-in this month is dedicated to the memory of fellow aviator Hank Meador, who’s celebration of his life also on Saturday from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. at Skylane Airport Clubhouse. Remaining 2015 Events: Oct 3 - Fly-in & Young Eagles Event (KEHR), 11:00 - 2:00 pm, grilling & flying Oct 14 - Chapter meeting at USI, 7-8:30 pm, pizza, aviation careers panel (ATC, corporate, law enforcement pilots, military aviators, CFI) Nov 11 - Chapter meeting, 7-8:30 pm, best "close call" story telling contest. Dec 9 - Christmas party, 7-8:30 pm, officer elections, location TBA. Interesting in serving the chapter? Here's your chance, nominate yourself or someone worthy for one of the leadership positions: President, VP, Secretary, Treasurer or Young Eagle Coordinator! |
