Join your fellow airmen as Catherine presents emergencies such as wake turbulence upsets and stalls at low altitude and discusses recommended recovery procedures. The seminar will feature videos that help explain the associated aerodynamics. She has served as a spin demonstration pilot for the University of TN Space Institute, and participated in their research and flight testing for icing in flight. She is also a designated pilot examiner (DPE) for the Nashville FSDO. Catherine enjoys finding ways to explain difficult aviation concepts in a fun and entertaining way.
