EAA Chapter 21 Young Eagle Day

The day started out at 9:00 AM with a long line of eager Young Eagles just waiting for their chance to fly like eagles.



Young Eagle #1 taking off and #'s 2,3,4,5 and 6 are heading down the taxi way, all loaded with their young eagle fledglings.  Young Eagle Flights number seven through thirteen are on the ramp loading up.

There was a constant stream of filghts taking off.  Over 100 new Eagles took flight.


Channel 14 and Fox both covered the event.  Fox interviewed Greg for their newscast but Channel 14 interviewed one of the new Eagles.  I am thinking Channel 14 probably had the better interview.

EAA Chapter 21's Young Eagle Coordinator, Greg McMichaels.  Thanks Greg for a wonderful day at the airport.  We have over 100 new children in the community that have taken to the skies for the first time.


The day is over and the last two young eagles to leave the airport talk about the days activities.
